A Warwickshire College veterinary nursing student, Stephanie Hedges, has achieved a First Class Honours degree in Veterinary Nursing. Exciting news in itself, but Stephanie however, is the first student ever at Warwickshire College to have achieved this accolade by distance learning.

Warwickshire College Celebrates National Apprenticeship Week

National Apprenticeship Week officially took place from 1st – 5th February. Warwickshire College honoured the week by organising activities every day, that were targeted around raising the awareness of apprenticeships and profiling individuals taking part.

A Warwickshire College apprentice, Liam Mcloughlin, has just been named Romec Apprentice of the Year. Romec is jointly owned by Royal Mail Group and Balfour Beatty Workplace and their four divisions span building services, cleaning and office management, fire and security systems and manufacturing.

On Thursday 17th December, eight Warwickshire College Skillbuilder students set out on a one mile sponsored walk to fetch five litres of water from Leamington Spa’s Pump Rooms, which they all drank with a bowl of plain rice for their day’s meal at College.
