Languages

We offer a full programme of part-time modern language courses from beginner to fluent linguist. Students are drawn from diverse areas; individuals wanting to learn another language, people wanting to teach English as a foreign language (ELT), international students and organisations conversing with overseas customers.

All our tutors are experienced teachers and many are native language speakers. We have a computerised language laboratory, a self-study centre and provide many other technological aids to enhance classroom learning.

Our part-time language courses are very popular and fill up quickly. In order to ensure a place on a course, please enrol and pay in advance.

If English is not your main language, you can do a course to help you improve your English. These courses are called ESOL or English for Speakers of other Languages. Click here for details on ESOL classes.
