Equi Study Courses

The Horse Care Series
A group of non-examination courses written for the horse owner and leisure rider. They are designed to help you learn more about horses and provide theoretical back-up to your practical training.

A separate course Progressive Riding provides a complete guide to riding techniques, for the beginner through to the more experienced rider.

Assistant Instructor Series
A series of courses for the equestrian student studying for the British Horse Society qualifications up to Stage 3 and Preliminary Teaching level, or for those wishing to further their equine knowledge and expertise.

Advanced Horse Knowledge Series
This series is ideal for students who have already acquired some knowledge in key areas but wish to further their studies.

The Business School Series
The Equi Study Business School offers a series of courses designed to develop your skills and your business.

Safety with Horses
As a flexible interactive learning package this course delivers consistent and coherent health and safety training for the equine industry. Students must be over 16.

Foundation Degree in Equine Studies
If you are passionate about horses and are interested in studying anatomy and physiology as well as culture and business in relation to the equine industry, at your own pace, this is the course for you.

BA Hons Degree + Top Up
If you have already achieved a HND or Foundation Degree in Equine Studies (or similar), why not top-up to a full BA in Equine Studies. Some attendance at College will be required.

FdA Horseracing Industry
This course is intended for learners who are employed or who are about to be employed in the horseracing industry. The content covers racehorse care and breeding and the essential aspects of horseracing business management.
